Sometimes it’s important to push the reset button. Some people have commented that it seems a shame to have a blog to communicate exciting things about distance education at TEDS, but to allow it to sit unattended for long periods of time. In theory, I agree. What the casual “reader” will not know, however, is that there is a sometimes delicate balance required between creating and communicating. Ideally both happen on a regular basis. However, sometimes it seems necessary to favor one or the other–especially if it is a particularly busy season. Much of our time and effort this Spring and Summer have been spent creating new procedures, systems, and courses to better serve our students, and by extension the worldwide church. Those of you on our email lists have also only recently seen any new communications from us. We’re grateful for your interest in TEDS and specifically in distance education.
With a new semester upon us we hope to be more proactive in communicating some of the exciting things being produced and delivered by our dedicated team.
